Vision and Mission
Where we're going, and why we're building this together.
Vision
We want to be the team that proves hands-on learning is the fastest way to become a better developer. Not through courses or tutorials — through building real things, making real mistakes, and sharing the whole process openly.
Mission
Our mission is simple:
- Build real projects that push us to learn new things
- Document everything — the wins, the bugs, the "oh, that's how you do it" moments
- Share openly so nobody on the team has to figure it out alone
- Keep it current — if it's outdated, it's misleading
What We Value
These aren't just words on a page. They're how we make decisions:
- Learn by doing — We'd rather ship something imperfect and learn from it than wait for perfect
- Write it down — If it's not documented, it didn't happen. Future you will thank present you
- No gatekeeping — Knowledge hoarding hurts the team. Share freely, ask freely
- Good enough now > perfect later — Ship the doc, ship the code, improve it next week
- Own it — See something broken? You don't need permission to fix it
How These Values Show Up
| Value | In Practice |
|---|---|
| Learn by doing | Every tech decision comes from actual project experience |
| Write it down | Our docs grow with every project we ship |
| No gatekeeping | Anyone can read, anyone can contribute, no approval walls |
| Good enough now | We publish drafts and iterate instead of waiting |
| Own it | If you spot an issue, you're welcome to fix it |
